School Profile Plus

School Profile Plus (SPP) is NCERs web based software for producing summary school information based on national and local datasets. The application is the newest of the NCER suite of software and has over 90 Local Authorities using School Profile Plus.

Some of the main benefits of SPP include:

  1. Web interface so you can access from any location

  2. Produce summary school information on screen or as PDF - a handy quick snapshot of a school - extremely useful reference for SIPs/Advisers before visiting a school. Data includes;

    • School Details
    • Attainment
    • Estimates
    • Targets
    • School Census
    • Financial

  3. Benefit from NCER agreements with 3rd parties (eg FFT, DCSF). National datasets (where available) are imported directly into SPP at relevant points throughout the year meaning you don't have to do the importing yourselves.

  4. Produce Stats Book, quickly and easily from your Annual Census Data Collection.

  5. Configurable reports and Batch Reporting function

  6. Document Management function

  7. Store data on all schools in your Local Authority in one central location, including a master school list, accessible by anyone with relevant permissions.

  8. Create multiple users with different access privileges to allow importing, reporting, editing of data etc.

School Profile Plus will be brought inside NEXUS during the course of this year. This will benefit all users by providing a single common interface for both KEYPAS and School Profile Plus and reduce data administration tasks by having a single common database.
