Responsibilities of the post

  1. To be responsible for managing the finances of NCER

  2. To prepare budgets and the forward planning of NCER finances.

  3. To collect monies from member LEAs as appropriate and to arrange payments to external bureau(s) as appropriate.

  4. To arrange for annual audits of accounts.

  5. To provide responses on financial progress to the Management Group and Steering Group.

  6. To contribute to the NCER Annual Report particularly with regard to financial issues.

  7. To work with other elected officers on the NCER Management Group.

  8. To liaise, as appropriate with other groups and professional bodies.

  9. To assist with NCER Conferences.

  10. To deputise for other officers as and when required.

  11. To attend meetings of the Steering Group and Management Group Meetings.
